FAQ Me!

Who are you?
My name is Trent. I use the screen name sinisterfrog on the Internet and as far as I can tell, it is a unique alias. I'm about 20, 5'11", and have all the usual stuff like hair. Currently studying music and teaching with the hope of becoming something else. Oh, and I live in Australia.

What is the point of sinisterfrog.com?
This is my online playground, my place in space. I can put whatever I want here for the entire world to see or I can hide things here and not tell the world it exists. I mainly use this site to host images, music, test code, share some ideas and provide a discussion forum for the sinisterfrog.com community.

Why do you need all that?
I don't. But it does provide me with time consuming "fun".

When sinisterfrog.com born?
I officially registered sinisterfrog.com on May 18, 2002 but it took a week to mature and was not online until May 25, making that the unofficial birth date of the official home page web site on the Internet.

How did you make this fabulous site?
It took a lot of monkey hours, research and mistakes to construct the site in front of you. I coded the valid XHTML and CSS with Dreamweaver and it is served up by Apache and PHP with a sprinkle of MySQL (registered with Doteasy and hosted by the folks at HostGator). Graphic work was done in Paint Shop Pro and the rest is history. If you want to know more, just follow some of those links.

What's that frog up in the corner?
That is a Red-eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis callidryas). They're a pretty cool little frog that likes to party in the rainforests of Costa Rica. They are non-toxic, carnivorous, nocturnal and spend a lot of time hanging upside down in trees. The big red eyes sort of look sinister and do manage to scare away anyone who tries to eat them. They also secrete a chemical that can block the HIV infection.

I've got lots more questions! How can I get in touch?
Best way is to send me a message on my secret contact page and we'll go from there.
